Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

Has anyone seen this sly news story about a treasury note stating that anyone earning more than £45k is not considered to be a working person? What the actual f?

I guess I’d better start firing up the benefits claims, it’s an easy life for me from now then! Loving labours early retirement policy!😜🤬😂

Not seen anything on this but if true i wonder if Labour are considering dropping the high income tax threshold to £45K? Could imagine spin that its not technically a tax increase just a change in the threshold at which you pay more tax.....

Probably another made up story. did you happen to read it on Twitter by any chance. Unless a politician actually says it why would anyone believe it. Maybe I am just a cynical old bastard who doesn't believe half of what he reads on the net or in newspapers.

No I don’t do twitter it was on sky news.

Who knows if it’s true, but a politician saying it isn’t wouldn’t mean it’s false, they’re just as dishonest as the media!😂

This is the article: https://news.sky.com/story/income-t... to rise - as Sky,qualify as "working people".

Not sure re Rupert Murdoch but to be fair I think his sons are cut from the same cloth!

They leak really bad stuff so when the not so bad changes come out there's a collective sigh of relief.

Reading the replies here and your heart just sinks.

This country is in the gutter with racism and division politics
Twitter is a cesspool to begin with, but I can only imagine what is being posted considering the panel (I can't see the replies).
