Politics, politics, politics (so long and thanks for all the fish)

I find it all fun and games. But I guess I can since I have no dog in the fight whether it be Pakistani Muslim rape gangs or right wing activists. I’m not associated to either. I think Luton loves to post anything against anyone but when it’s in his back yard then it’s keyboard smashing time and double standards, story telling time “one day one of my friends”, a dose of avoidance and deflection …. I love it.

Let's take you at face-value.

IF this is the case, then it seems your ONLY motiviation is to derive some form of 'entertainment' at the expense of others.
Is that really the case? Is this REALLY all just 'fun and games'? Do you REALLY 'love it'?

Given the way the Epstein Files have been disappeared by the MAGA overlords in the US, I’d say The White House do a pretty good job of it, along with our own Royal Family.

Yeh I was going to say, we have done a pretty good job of covering it up in:

- Politics
- Sport
- Entertainment
- Royalty
- Schools
- The EDL ;)

Thats before you get onto religion

Thats why I think its laughable when people trot out the idea it only happens or is more likely to happen in one area of the community. The history of this country and others paints a much different picture

I know that you have a bias towards Luton’s views and that’s fine. I’m just saying that I don’t take this board or forum as serious as others.

Luton likes to peddle racist stuff about middle aged white men, which is fine and balanced with my tongue in cheek rebuttals. As Grays said it’s all about balance and calling out everyone. I’m just evening it out.

You take this forum seriously and have made some friends etc, again enjoy.

You enjoying this back and forth where you have endlessly made a clown of yourself is another nonsense fib.

Mate.
I asked you a question regarding something you had said about you.
If you are uncomfortable answering that, I understand, albeit maybe just say so if that is the case?
I am confused though; I have always taken you as a very serious poster, not someone who takes things lightly?

Oh my, fun and games and taking a forum as lightly as a fart in public. My topics of interest at times yes are just for my entertainment with Luton. I enjoy his random twitter posts by nobodies to prove his points but dismissive of other twitter posters. It’s quite entertaining to see the double standards.

Just to see if there is any actual substance from those that post here crying equality and trying to only go for low hanging fruit. I loved Simon Jordan’s retort on Gary Neville the other day as even though I may not have agreed with him I liked that there is actual the other side. And people who are disgusted with calling out specific people are ok with that but not when it involves minorities. I like balance and have found this section of the forum quite entertaining.

There are many sheep on this board very happy to play it safe and hide behind the pc opinion.

The only reason I reply to your question and possibly digging is that I have some respect for you and am happy to take my point of view and expand on it if I get a decent response.

So can Trump/US sort out Ukraine now all the hotheads in the middle east have been quenched?

Strange days, but it would be very welcome.
The prisoner release is so welcome but I don't hold out much hope that the 'ceasefire' will hold. There are reports that there are still Palestinians being killed today in breach of the agreement (unconfirmed I might add). The pullback by the IDF is not to the edge of Gaza but rather to the beginning of the small amount of agricultural land they had. That land will stay under Israeli control, so Gaza will be totally dependent on what is allowed into the strip. This is not a liberation by any stretch of the imagination, but if the hostilities cease, that would be something.

In fairness (and I don't say this to be contradictory - I mean it!), I'd be proud to be called 'a sheep'...I think the way the term is used by most people shows an enormous level of ignorance.

Unfortunately, as seems to be the way with these things, creatures/living things whose first instinct is not to attack/fight/claim dominance/subjugate others/battle for power, are seen as docile, non-individuals, and 'followers' among many other things...what a shame eh?

I don't like sheep. Little woolly agents of ecocide.
Edit: and cats. Murderous little selfish creatures.

I’m really glad that you have found your peace.

In saying so, since you are quite the serious sheep on this forum, do you think the majority of Nazi Germany were Nazis by choice or because the sheep allowed the hijack of Germany? Same instance for when the Islamists hijacked Lebanon etc etc.

I would say it was because of a well thought out plan that took Adolf 6 years to implement before WW2 broke out.

I am currently in transit so time poor so took a short cut to but ultimately it's a fair summary. It misses a key point on how the education system was also hijacked by the Nazis in order to create support within the future of the country.

Plenty of parallels to what's happening in the UK but the sheep are not those you think they are, they are more likely those falling for stokes from Farage and Co

The sheep are the sheep that’s what we are baa’ing about. The silent majority. So essentially what you are saying is that as a society we are now being flooded with immigration problems on purpose to oust all immigrants?

Im not saying anything of the sort

Im saying that people are attributing their own hardships on people that don't live or look like them, it's the easiest cop out known to man.

All people have the ability to do more, easier to blame others though and therefore easy to tap into that mindset with a few well placed speeches

This is it.

First off, I am not especially 'serious' I just try to choose my words carefully on these matters. People take offence at the slightest thing these days. Sometimes, people are so hellbent on taking offence, they'll find offence where there isn't any. I am not interested in any of that. I don't have the time.

As to the first question, you're now talking about herd mentality, for which there can be many reasons depending on the situation.
You've essentially given me two choices in your question; did the majority of Germans choose to be Nazis or did they become Nazis because people didn't stand up to Nazi ideology? It's a little more complex than that, however I'll potboil my read on it down to a few simple things:

economics
autocracy
fear
propaganda
separatism

Those factors contributed enormously to the rise of Nazi Germany.
