I've yet to hear anyone say that women and children are always believed and that this problem doesn't exist.

Is that something you've heard? Have you heard anyone heading up a council or govt say that in order to keep votes?

It's not the same thing.

Course it's the same thing, women and children are being let down by the government and establishment over score of issues, not just the grooming gangs and the off refusal to profile criminals. You are either upset about it all or you ain't.

My point is many seem to be only concerned about one corner of the issue where as we all know it and the problems exist in every corner

Everyone is upset about it all.

Officials at all levels were telling us this problem didn't exist, that we didn't need an enquiry on it, that it was just racist, "dog whistle" politics.

That hasn't happened with the other issues you've pointed out. That's why nobody had to raise awareness of them.

I don't think that's true though, we had an enquiry where these issues were exposed and the Rochdale grooming gang were convicted off the back of it.

The crime isn't the lack of further enquiry it's a lack of implementing change off the back of the points made across the whole enquiry.

And of course it has happened on the other issues because the problems remain and children and women are still not being believed and taken serious because they might come from broken families, drugs, poor vuneralble upbringing.

The issues that remain are much wider than the refusal to profile the perpetrators which everyone seemingly wants to focus their anger on, which I agree is a MASSIVE issue but it's not the only one.

- He then pretended he'd keep the bulk of his manifesto if he won the leadership only to throw it in the bin.
- He went from "remain will be on the ballot box" speech to "we will not join the SM and customs union on my watch"
- He went from "i'm liberal left wing and socialist" to the politician most closely compared to Enoch fu**ing Powell in modern British history with his "island of strangers" speech likely to go down in right-wing folklore.
- He went from railing against "tory sleeze" to publically maxing the expenses budget and scrounging the most freebies he could as soon as he made it to office. Not to mention giving his largest donor the keys to Parliament and having half the cabinet seemingly stay at his flat - f**king weird.
- He's supposedly a long time friend of Reeves so just on a personal level to allow that absolute humiliation to happen today where Badenoch is able to literally point out publically how unwilling he is to properly back her across the dispatch box .....that shows the f**king duplicitous nature of the guy and the complete lack of empathy.
- The guy is literally the most slimey, self-centred, narcissistic, u-turning, back-stabbing sh*t-show of a politician we've had in office.

So the agency that denied it was in court and investigated for its (lack of) actions. Great, that's how it should be.

We should be seeing similar for all those northern councils, police forces and any senior govt minister that dismissed it - including the PM.
