Planes, Trains And Automobiles - We're Going To Bilbao

Not sure if I’ve posted it here or just on WhatsApp groups but I had a half hour walk back to my hotel early hours of this morning and it was like a town of refugees (no offence intended). Just groups of both Spurs and Utd fans everywhere huddled in doorways and bus stops to shelter from the rain or waiting in long, long queues for taxis (I assume). In my half hour walk I saw just one taxi (with passengers). Looked at uber and it was EUR 25 back to the old town, so I stuck with shanks’s pony.

I didn't think it was that far back to The Carlton? 😂
 
Went to San Sebastian for breakfast just to have a quick look. Drove to our hotel outside Barcelona and took the train in for dinner and some sightseeing. Flying to London tomorrow morning in time for the parade.

I should have met up with you this afternoon, as I'm still here as well. (Up the big hill in the campervan park.)

I was in 'recovery mode' for a good part of the day. Not that had drunk that much BUT physically and mentally it just takes soooo much out of you. And tbh my voice was failing me in the middle of conversations, after copious amounts of singing/shouting.

My voice is shot.
I walked over the bridge and the hill was was just too much so backtracked back to the old town.

Now listening to Mancs singing “oh Teddy Teddy teddy sherringham” which I think is directed at me but if that s all they have…..
