We're back and how.

Finally somebody from Warrington plays at the Ally Pally.

And what a way to introduce yourself, remember the name Luke 'The Nuke' Littler 3-0

Get in Lad

16 !! He looked in his 30’s haha

Its a tough paper round up here in Warrington....

And the draw just opened up for him if he can carry on, both of the Top 16 seeds in his bit of the draw out James Wade and Peter Wright, if he can get past Gilding tonight he could meet Barney in the Last 16

Anyone every been to this event? My son has wanted to go for years but his missus wont let him go.

Been loads of times, it’s not as fun as it used to be, bouncers are a bit stroppy off camera.

The dressing up and stupid singing has got out of hand, half the crowd aren’t watching the darts and wouldn’t know if it’s being played well or not.

It’s a nicer venue now but it was better at the Tavern in Purfleet.

Felt the same. We went there 4 times IIRC, used to tie it in with when he came down for a Christmas home game. Atmosphere seemed better in the days of Phil Taylor, Barney in his pomp and Vincent Van der Voort, but as you say seems to have changed over the years.

So glad we did go when we did. How can you explain to the kids that you went to the darts, needed a quick wee and you have a Thunderbird pilot to your left and a Smurf to your right...surreal

At the PL darts in Belfast around 15 years ago I saw a Smurf in a full-on fight with Shrek - both ended up with their tops dragged off, swinging at each other. People were smoking everywhere indoors and p i s s i n g in the toilet sinks. It was like the last days of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Great night!

It's always the way things get too big and the real reason for being there is spoilt by the look at me phalanx.

Not watched much yet but that Littler had a tough paper round.

Just had Ross Smith 50/1 as each way winner. One of the prolific 180 hitters on tour, if he can bring it all together he might be a dark horse

Seems like it's become popular because it's popular, so just full of people that are there because it's trendy, and they think it'll look good on their insta.
