Noticed the difference between Vertonghen's short safe sideways passing and Alderweireld's longer passing upfield.
Not saying one is better or worse tactic than the other e.g. hoofing it long or insightful long balls into the channel versus playing it safe and keeping possession etc etc etc, just noticed the difference that's all.
It is pretty hard to read these charts as one beautiful curling insightful throughball under pressure between two defenders looks the same as a pointless hoof forwards when 3 other better outlets were available, they are both just an arrow.
