*** OMT Tottenham v Aston Villa - Friday 16th May ***

Could have been worse. Decent for an hour with the B Team. I was expecting a hammering.
Get soundly beaten yet again and this is how we are. This is how low it is. I'm not having a go, I am the same I expected a 3+ hammering.

I just hope the habits and the rot haven't set in too deep for next season. Losing for us is like getting in a bath these days

Not unexpected. In fact the performance wasn’t even that bad relative to some others albeit we had one shot on target and our keeper was arguably our best player.

21 defeats from 37 games. 17th in the league. It is mind bogglingly incompetent. I never thought I’d see it in my lifetime, particularly over the last 20 years. It’s beyond sackable.

Ange has one swing of the bat left. A chance, despite everything else, to write himself into immortality. When the dust settles, either way, he’ll have written himself into infamy because this league season will be remembered for decades to come for its awfulness. Hopefully, this dark cloud has a silver lining. The alternative is pretty depressing for us and Ange.

A bigger concern for me is the state of our squad. Mediocre. Full of mid table players at best.

Yes we can lay this at Anges feet and yes I know we’ve spent money but I just don’t think we have a top 6 capable squad.

Kane carried this club on his back for a long while.

Bergvail , Udogie maybe could be top top players. The rest nah not for me. This past 18 months is going to be a job to turn around.

The football gods are just stacking up all the bad brick on one side of the ledger to give us a glorious night in Europe and balance it out. That's the way it always works.
