***OMT: Tottenham Hotspur vs Liverpool***

Lets not carried away, Dier is an important player for us. Just maddening that in a game like this, the first goal is vital, and to lay it on a plate like that is frustrating.

So is Wanyama. I can also remember Dier's dire performances that have cost Spurs.

They've had about four shots and headers off target... meanwhile Karius is having his fourth cup of tea.

As GNev says, they are setting traps, encouraging us to play through the middle and then crunching in to win it and break on us. Seems to be working well for them.

What should we do to counter it?

Nothing funny about it. Well, watching Dier believe he’s a good footballer and then do something stupid I suppose could be construed as funny. Have to laugh at unfortunate situations sometimes
So a footballer misplaces a pass under a heavy press and that makes them a bad footballer?

Hugo stop playing it short for a start

Compound fracture on Salah's shin would be a good start

We need to go wide, but we don't have any width as full backs pushed back because of their pace.
