OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Palace

He’s been here long enough to start forming an opinion. My comment about him was not over the top. I don’t dig him out constantly as was made out.

When he’s started he’s not done enough. Looked ok coming off the bench.
He has been here half a season
That ain’t very long
If he carries on at his current run rate he will end his first season with 11 assist and 6 goals

Liverpool 99th minute winner. They are getting some luck

Its starting to feel like one of those sporting films where the impossible happens. I have this really bad feeling they are going to win the lot in Klopps final season

It’s got that feeling. I do wonder if the talk of cameras following them this season are true , fairy tale ending for the cameras . As some said so long as it keeps the scum away from top spot all good. Think City win the league by a narrow margin tho.

Time will tell.

Maybe his role is the impact sub. Lots of pace against tired legs.

I mean its a great feeling when we win coming from behind, but we really cant keep going a goal down, it really isnt good for the heart.

I honestly admit after they scored it did not look good, and when we had that spell of missing good chances I was convinced this was the day we dont keep the goalscoring run going, let alone win.

Over the moon to be proved wrong.

However, we are going to have to play for more than 20/25 mins next weekend to get something at Villa Park. A favour off Luton tonight would be an unexpected bonus, but I dont see it happening. If we want to finish 4th, we have to help ourselves first, and that means AT LEAST, avoiding defeat next Sunday

Their match at Anfield is massive. I hope Pep does not try and be too clever with his tactics and muck it up

Just watched the highlights, what the hell was that wall for their goal?! Bet Eze couldn't believe his luck! Any suspicious betting patterns?
Agreed, our wall was heavily biased to one side, and predictably....like nearly all goalies... Vic took a step to his right and then threw himself left but failed to get there.
That is one of my many pet peeves... just as the freekick is taken the keeper bottles it and hops one step to the side of the goal which the wall is covering, then cannot recover to save the shot on the side they are supposed to be covering.
Eze didn't have to do much at all, just whacked it in the wide open space.

I def need to watch the highlights tonight. Did not see any of the 4 goals as they happened, as my river froze over EVERY time literally seconds before each goal was scored
Just as Eze was lining up his shot
Just as Johnson burst through the two tackles on the touchline
Didnt even see the cross from Maddison to Romero, and then to cap it all off, the screen froze just as Son was about to latch onto the ball about 3 yards inside their half

Hmmm Villa had various chances and then score easily from a corner against Luton after 24 minutes. Fair play. They are going to be a very tough opponent in the run-in.

I'm gonna have to watch this match back as I couldn't watch it today (I literally turned it on when they scored their freekick and missed our comeback). What is the consensus, did we play too slowly or not take the risks? Or was it just poor final third play?

Slow play, no risks, no dare, no do.
