*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Juventus ***

First one where he lands on his leg could be excused, albeit it is intended. Everything else are red cards. second stand on his leg and the kicks out when he runs away. 2 red cards there. but will of course not be given...

Where is VAR when you need him??

Pen was clear as and I’m row 5 upper tier, but right above it

But Hugo hasn’t had a save to make and I don’t think I’ve ever seen him have the call at his feet so much

The only reason Verts got away with that penalty was due to Costa going down too late. From the ref's view Verts was sat on the ground with his arms in the air then Costa fell over.

I can see why they thought it was a dive. Even the fella behind the goal, who is getting grief, sees Verts not touch him initially. The angle isn’t good for him to see that Verts actually caught him after the tackle.

It was stonewall though.

True.

Then there was the shirt pull on Verts, so it’s 1-1 :D

Juve players confronting the ref big time at half time, according to Norwegian telly. Won't be the last time they try to influence the ref tonight.

Wouldn't call it stonewall as the contact wasn't strong, it didn't stop Costa. It was a pen, but so was the hand ball. Both of them relatively soft pens - Costa could have stayed on his feet, and the hand ball was on the ground. But if you listen to the media it was a game changer etc etc. Juve should have had a red, and maybe 2 pens against them. We've dominated.

Quick and full of tricks but what's he actually done? Not much... Plus we have Moura now anyway.

He looked the only player to make anything happen for them first half. Completely lefts Verts for dead, and Verts is no mug. On loan from Bayern, so potentially for sale.

Vertonghen absolutely smashed Higuain there.

Dele with a perhaps overly speculative shot....could have passed to Kane.
