Personally, I’m staunchly “Frank out” today. Only taking 4 points from 6 against City is unacceptable for any Tottenham manager.

Frank is our first manager to pick up 4 points in a season against €iteh since Pochettino a decade ago!

*both times we did the PL double over Fraudiola was when we had NES & Conte or Poch & Mourinho tag-teaming him!!

What a great game considering the situation that I watched it a second time. A few thoughts:

Paulinha is great at CB. His tackles ball and player at the same time, so much less risky than Romero's. Also better at heading/challenging headers. He doesn't break his line too much so the structure and organisation is more solid.

Didn;t miss Porro with Grey at right back. Kept Semenyo (!) at bay, covered a lot of the pitch and put in a shift getting back in defence. His early cross field passes were a joy to watch.

Xavi and Gallagher are "full hearted" players who play better at full pace and with and instinctively attack. Very obvious that solanke is a better fit with them.

Tel and Odobert are great from the bench and stretching games. Don't want to see them start again.

TF did good at half time and with subs.

Palhinha is an elite tackler, he's good in CM if the instructions are to drop back, not go forward (e.g. the Poch Dier role), he can do a job in CB, he should be made a permanent signing. He's the one that pocketed Semenyo not Gray (no slight on Gray).

Disagree re Odobert, he's good from start or bench, seen enough now that I think the RW spot is his until Kudus comes back
