Any individuality is drummed out of players at a very young age. Watching my son even back to under 7s, they start off 3 v 3, starting positions, drilling shape and passing. If they try beat a player 1 v 1 they blow whistle and tell them to go back to starting positions.

I'm actually quite proud of the players. They know things are fundamentally wrong but they are soldiering on. Obviously not at full tilt, especially those who are 1st team EL team. This would have been a lot worse with some of the players we used to have. They really did quit on their managers.

He's struggling today. As soon as he has it, they are on top of him. He then tries that one trick to retain possession, which they are reading like a book and then he loses possession. As you say, he is so one paced.
