OMT - The Sh1tmunchers Derby

What a brick game of football. So many players off form. Kulu might as well not be on the pitch. Spence form has nosedived in recent weeks.
Do the players not know we have a right wing? Everything is down the left.

Awful awful awful. What coaching have we done for two years that prevents us from gaining a foothold in midfield? We are so poor as a collective. And individually there appears to be wholesale regression. The fact that Vicario is captain when he is an accident waiting to happen speaks volumes.

Only good thing I see is that this further reinforces that we need a new coach.

If you look at the money the EPL spends even down do the promoted teams. Only the top teams in each league spend more.

So it's the same old teams ever year. It's actually the premier League that mixes it up.

Bayern - sometimes Dortmund
PSG -
Inter - sometimes Napoli or juve cheats
Real and Barca sometimes A Madrid.

It's no wonder the Europa teams are lower level.

Vicario looks a different player when he has players he trusts in front of him

It's literally our B-Team, so one shouldn't expect scintillating play, but yes it is very scrappy with lots of fighting, everything is on our left, not a lot of nice passing.
We have a VERY strong bench to come on.

Davies was trying to play offside. BUT the obvious play, given how central Bowen was, is Davies just tracks Bowen as close as possible and Spence shows some urgency to get out to the wideman when they balls played out there.
That's inexperience or lack of concentration or laziness.

Once you see a player coming from behind you at a faster pace, you have to follow him fast if the pass is made. I mean that's the only way to break the offside trap.

We've played the 3rd place team in Germany, they were brick. United just beat the 4th best team in Spain 3 nil away from home - there's no quality on the continent in comparison to the PL outside of a handful of CL teams
Bilbao are decent. They’d had 8 shots before Utd’s first which made it 0-1. Then Utd’s 2nd shot was the pen which was also a red card to Bilbao (I’ve never seen a red card for that type of incident btw).

That game could play out 10 times and Bilbao would win 8 or 9.

If we had a well drilled organized team and squad where everyone knows their job, you should not have such a drop off. We have a few patterns of play (hit immediate low cross along the six yard box without thought) but everything else seems so haphazard.

Forgot this game was on during the half time break.

Was genuinely confused when I walked back into the room and sat the teams coming back out
