OMT Mighty Spurs vs Hungry Wolves

i think frank might want more steel and experience in the midfield. Bentancur high probability for Sarr who tweaked something. And maybe Vicario just to be sure.

Starting with counter attacking and that front four looks like a plan to me.

its about 10'C there now so not too cold ? i believe frank won't won't risk injuries to the fragile ones on that infamous plastic pitch.
I wasnt sure why Sarr's been missing, when he was playing so well.

I more meant the distance to the game than the temperature. Isnt it also a plastic pitch, which massively ramps up the injury risks?

Can't wait for this. My first game at the Lane since Liverpool in 2023. 8pm kick off means a big lead up, which is nice!

We've a terrible record against Wolves recently but my record at home is 13 wins, 7 draws and 1 loss -- the loss to Real Madrid when we were already down 4-0 on aggregate, so I don't count it.

A dead-leg is not as straight-forward as it sounds sadly. Here's hooping we haven't managed to find the 'weeks-to-months' dead leg issue!
Do you remember Christian Ziege's ...nasty stuff.

Think Frank said it was getting better but started bleeding again. (I assume he means internally).

He then did say Muani has missed two weeks out on the grass, so it'll be a few more weeks to get back up to speed!

It's Sarr that did it btw...ran into him. Does that boy ever stop running!

yeah, it could be as simple as impact trauma ... but it could be as severe as a nerve compression/damage issue - i don't think the science is mature in this area yet

not sure but i heard TF say that randal was "bleeding again" or was he referring to another player? if its randal, i've not heard of a "bleeding dead leg" before! Perhaps a compound injury

3 points please! nuff said - whoever we put on the pitch, it's a must to keep the momentum going

here's hoping Muani's dead leg is resolved asap, the sooner the better, especially for him

You want to risk the likes of vdV, Palhinha and Richy, against the worst team in the league, few hours before we play up in the Arctic Circle?
Wolves are better than Bodl/Glimt. Glimt are now looking weared out and their squad is stretched. No wonder, because they have a much smaller squad than a PL team, and they've played competitive games in every calender month since March 2023.
They're starting to look a bit tired.

No predictions please as we all know what happened the last time you predicted a win at home to Wolves 😜. But seriously enjoy the game and it goes without saying I hope we win.

In Norwegian we call a dead leg a "thigh hen", haha, sounds even more ridiculous when translated - I've had a few of those, but never as an adult. Had no idea they could be that serious.

I'd rest Porro today, play Udogie and Spence. Rest VDV today, play Danso, then play VDV and Danso against Bodø. Then just manage minutes on the rest of the lads. Take some off after 60 today - hopefully we can start with players like Odobert, Tel, Gray against Bodø.

No resting anyone today. It's quite possibly the most difficult game we'll play all season.
