Im not sure how much more evidence is needed that the players are not good enough.
 
All eyes on the Jan transfers. Can confirm massive overhaul needed. Just buying Leeds midfield without further shopping would improve us massively

Gil dribbling and having flair will turn defenders and make them work harder to keep shape.

I was thinking the same thing. There's this myth that Ndombele is easy to bypass. He has by far better interception and pressing stats than Winks. Thats not to say they are necesairly good enough in themselves but they are better than Winks. Then you add that he might actually do something useful with the ball and it's a bit of a no brainer as to whom should start between them.

But oh well another coach is just going to learn the hard way that picking a midfield with no passers is a sure fire way to create no chances, grow discontent from the fan base and get yourself sacked.

Yeah, especially when hitting the post doesn't count. But it's one of these stupid stats the media love. I'm sure they could find something about us not having scored with a left foot or something and make a big deal out of it.
 
I'd consider shoving Dier into CM instead of one of Winks or PEH. Take off Moura as well. Dier, Ndombele and either Winks or PEH in CM.

Sometimes they did. However he had Hazard, Fabregas, Matic - players with quality to influence the game. We do not have an Hazard like player. Closest to that type is Moura. Son is not that creative and Kane is not that dynamic. An idea is to throw on Bergwijn.

Did Kane just miss that!!!
