I’d take him over De Zerbi.

but eventually is no good at the minute. We’ve got 13 games.
Nope, we've got 12 games. To get 12 points. With a 12 game gap before the next game. It is the 12th of the month. Numerologists will be rigid with excitement.

PS. I assume if the owners tried to appoint De Zerbi there would (rightly) be a huge social media backlash to try to stop it, just like the "No to Gattuso" hashtag. Due to buying and playing the really awful human turd Mason Greenwood, anyone that has seen the video of Greenwood's victim shortly after one incident, would NEVER play Greenwood, surely? What a scumbag. A pair of scumbags.

Was the Getafe manager a scumbag for taking Greenwood on loan. If we aren't getting mangers based on the scumbags they have coached it might rule a lot of managers out. I hate to imagine what some players are really like.

Of course? Do you really think not? Search up the video evidence against Greenwood and tell me otherwise.
Don't need to re watch I think Greenwood is a clam of a human being & I wouldn't want him near Tottenham. The problem I have is calling everyone that employees him a scumbag. There argument is his charges were dropped & he hasn't been found guilty of any crime. I might not agree with them but they are not scumbags for employing him.

I know he's pointed to as a bit of a nutter/dingdongead. Another Conte type figure. Which could easily be a bad thing, particularly longer term. But to me seems to have a pretty good track record of instilling a style of play quickly (we need that), has PL experience and experience managing in difficult circumstances.

Wouldn't be on my list of attractive targets permanently come the summer, but if the options now are him, Mason, Redknapp etc i can't see better options than him.
Instilling a style quickly is absolutely the top priority at the moment.

Marco Rose sacked by Leipzig - trophy winner, experienced in European competitions, comfortable with youths and favours the press and direct football.

Key tactical components include:
  • Formations: Frequently uses 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-1-2 (diamond) to maintain central strength.
  • Pressing Style: Man-oriented, high-intensity pressing aimed at forcing turnovers in the final third.
  • Build-up: Often utilizes a double pivot in a 4-2 base, with center-backs splitting wide and full-backs pushing high.
  • Attacking Approach: Focuses on quick, vertical passing rather than patient possession, often looking to get the ball forward immediately.
  • Fluidity: Requires high-energy, versatile players capable of rotating positions, especially in the attacking third.
Key Principles:
  • High-Intensity Pressing: Aims to win the ball immediately upon losing it (counter-pressing).
  • Width through Full-backs: Wingers often tuck inside, allowing full-backs to provide attacking width and numerical superiority.
  • Directness: Focuses on rapid, vertical play to exploit space before the opposition settles.

We keep focusing on supposed high intensity press managers, do we even have the players to do it? Our injury situation would suggest not as we have no depth to rotate, and even if we can we would need a semi fit squad first or it’s all knock on effect

Wasn't there video evidence of jonny depp beating up amber heard? Pictures of bruises?

I don't know what happened in either case. Neither do you. Mason probably did rape and beat her. I would never want him to play at Spurs. But i don't know for sure. She could have set it up as heard was found to.

I’d take him over De Zerbi.

We don’t have the squad to play the kind of football he plays. He could build that eventually (in theory, obviously, because we’d never do the level of business needed) but eventually is no good at the minute. We’ve got 13 games.

We also need a calm head as manager in a relegation scrap, not Romero on speed.
Not having the squad to play his kind of football is a very good point. I'm not entu sure that's the case, but probably you're right.

There's always the fight fire with fire approach, or fight chaos with chaos 😉 (That's a joke, I do agree that there are real issues and concerns about hiring De Zerbi, I see very few options where there aren't issues and concerns though).
