If the picture of Levy and Munn yesterday on their way to Dusseldorf is true they could be sat in a room with Nagelsmanns representatives right this second
I said in an earlier post he should be given a chance..he is passionate about Spurs..and you need a bit of that+ he thinks he isYou want him to be made permanent?

And this is why we need to have a proper football structure and philosophy. We shouldn't be dependent on the manager to define it, rather we should be picking the manager that fits it. When that's the case, you really don't care (well, maybe a little bit) if the manager leaves, because you already have a list of replacements that fit your philosophy that you can pursue. If we want stability, we need to be continuously planning and running what-if scenarios for when player A or manager B leave. On the back of that, mourinho and Conte were almost hounded out as soon as they became the manager ... they won multiple titles in multiple leagues ...
And if Kompany jumps ship more showing no loyalty ... he will be off like a smelly chicken the first time of asking when city come knocking ...
This pure knee-jerk and ill-informed. You don't get a new long-term manager in right after you sack your current manager unless said manager is available and wants to start this late into the season. In most cases you appoint a caretaker and sort out your manager to be in place prior to pre-season. So just because we haven't appointed a permanent manager yet doesn't mean this is going to be 2021 all over again, which was a very unique situation in that there were slim pickings and a newly-hired Paratici had a lot of input, which may have not been the direction the club wanted to go in.So, uh...I take it not many are still on the 'it's only been a day/week/month since we sacked Conte, we have plenty of time' bus? Just checking - know how vehement the opinion was back then that this was nothing like the farce we went through the last tiem we looked for a coach, after all.
When we sacked Conte we had something to play for. Now we have nothing to play for but pride.
And as the past month has demonstrated, these players have no pride - a more loathsomely cowardly, spineless group of men calling themselves 'professionals' has rarely been assembled.
Other clubs move fast, appoint replacements, and salvage seasons - Villa were just above the drop zone when they made their change, now they are going to finish up above us.
Not us. The smartest chairman in the league knows better, you see.
Why were the pickings in 2021 slimmer than they are now? This pure knee-jerk and ill-informed. In any case, I would say relax and be patient. And if by mid-June there is no managerial appointment yet, then by all means... panic!
I think Leeds have now given themselves half a chance of staying up.Missed the boat on Allardyce now as well..
Hardly a shambles. Maybe you have a different definition of the word.Could just do with a fast forward button to skip past the current mess and to the point where we have a DoF and manager
we're a shambles of a club at the moment
Hardly a shambles. Maybe you have a different definition of the word.
All that is in the process of getting sorted. I'm more worried about the entitled arrogant impatient customers, that will remain unfortunately.Really?
- No manager
- No DoF
- 12 goals conceded in the last 3 games
- 5 points from last 6 games
- Star striker contract situation
- Some critical positions need strengthening in the summer, but no DoF or manager currently to agree targets
- Several loan players returning in the summer and likely to need shipping out, along with underperformers...but no DoF in place
I'm not sure what more is needed on or off the pitch to make us a shambles if we're not at the moment

PS, shambles means total disorder. We're just unfortunate in that our manager decided to abandon ship at the same time as FIFA slapped a ban on our DoF.

Hopefully those things will start to get sorted quickly as you say and regardless of whether you describe it as a shambles or chaos or whatever. We're a laughing stock at the moment
Who’s laughing? Fans of other clubs? The media? Who cares?
