Further back, as @Rorschach pointed out, VDV. That was unbelievably exciting, because of who he was (Real Madrid player, one of the players in the bracket above our usual level, brilliantly skilled, passionate) and the way the transfer unfolded (a complete surprise on deadline day, taking place late into the evening after an extension had been requested and we were all on tenterhooks hoping the deal didn't fall through
