It’s less about the discussion and more that I didn’t realise we had so many posters with knowledge of release clauses, NDAs, whether we have or haven’t tapped him up, how we deal with CAA etc.

Seems I’m one of the few who has no clue about it all.

I haven’t can called him names anywhere
What I have said, quite clearly, is he has a lot of sway in his home country
That’s all publicly available to see
€5B euros doesn’t have as much sway in other countries
 
That is where their owner stepped in and stalled the transfer, looking for a higher fee. Before that we were moving forward with it. Probably City had agreed a player + cash deal with Forst which the owner signed off. But when that didn't work out, Forest worked with Spurs to progress the cash bid, but then the owner decided he didn't like it....
