The key issue is does he want to slow down and let himself develop? I read that his international manager has said "He will decide his career himself with the people that manage him but it's important for him to find a club where he will play in the starting XI". I don't think he's going to get that at Spurs yet and again I read that he doesn't want another loan so ....

Im talking about fans expectations - Vuskovic himself, I'm happy to see him play here and develop if RDZ wants that. In terms of Vuskovic, we have him on a long term contract, if we want to loan him for another season then he will go on loan if he wants to play every week. If RDZ sees him being a regular here then fantastic, will be interesting to see how this one plays out....

van Hecke had more 'bumps' against Japan than Vuskovic did against England

In the last couple of pages posters have said “he looks nothing special / he was poor / clearly not ready for the PL”.

I know there’s one or 2 posters going in the other direction, but it’s literally one or two, not a majority or anything like that, but seems that’s what’s being argued against.

I’m fine with another loan by the way.

That's great, I'm not judging any player based on a World Cup tournament. I expect Vuskovic to have a good tournament, from the league games I've seen him in he's far from the finished article and would get exposed more in the PL than the German or Belgian leagues he has played in so far.

I work for a company based in Hamburg, and randomly there is a Spurs fan (bless him) in the office who rates him but unsure about him playing for us right now. If RDZ believes he fits in his setup now, then great I'm happy for him to earn his stripes here. If he doesn't believe he is ready and wants him to get some more experience and iron out some of his misgivings at another PL club then that works too....

That's all fair. I just don't see the focus on being unpolished being right, if the comparison is to van Hecke, who statistically had more errors leading to a goal than any other player in the league last season.

Agreed, with the exception that it’s either a Prem loan or in our first team squad. I don’t think another foreign loan will benefit him or us that much at this stage.

Quite, the issue is we are not producing much to even sell on and get profit from, not there being no way into the squad.
