Lets Talk About Wages

This.

Is it true Emirates Marketing Project are to offer Ibrahimovic ?ú300,000 per week? Seriously?

So, this is "doing it the right way, is it? The ability to pay 3 x what our maximum would be?

Just fudge off city.

That is 3 times what Bob Diamond, the chairman of Barclays, earns.

Bankers, righly get our disdain. Players should o as well.

?ú15 million a year? fudge off

Because comparing what a footballer earns per week sounds really sensationalist compared to what a nurse gets in a year!

It's from the history of factory work. People would get paid weekly and it helped budgeting.

Doesn't the team captain go around every week with a pay packet for the squad (usually just before lunch on Friday so they can all go down the pub with a few quid in their pockets and have a couple of bevvies)?

Even Villa pay better than us.

all that proves is how crap villas finances are managed, until we get the increased revenue of the stadium I'm happy we are where we are.

Regular CL football is the difference. With that, only Barca, Madrid, City and Chelsea would be out of sight.

Shows how well Joe Lewis is creaming the profits of the club to add to his 3 Billion.

Your understanding of basic maths is the only possible excuse for these rants, otherwise well I just don't know.

To be upset he won't invest more is one thing, but to claim he is looking to take out chump change (to him) and degrade his investment is just absurd.

ENIC are a sports investment company. They did not buy Spurs as a vanity project, it is a business investment. You will be waiting a very long time if you think he should put his personal money into the club.

I know they're the best club side in Europe but I didn't expect Barca to be the highest average salary.....

When was the last time Joe Lewis put some of his 3 Billion into the club

October 2009, if you really must know.

His 70% share of ENIC accounted for ?ú10.5 million of the ?ú15 million raised by ENIC for the share placement that helped to pay for some of the costs incurred up to that point by planning and property purchases for the NDP.

Prior to that, he put up ?ú7.7 million of the ?ú11 million that ENIC contributed to the ?ú15 million January 2004 rights issue.

Any other questions?
