Right now Paulinha is living off past hype, he will have to earn my respect.

Every player has to earn respect... not just yours....

At this stage, one can only and simply evaluate - at face value - whether this is a seemingly good transfer... and none of your misgivings make me change my opinion that it is.

I don’t think he has to earn your respect in the slightest nor does he probably want for it.

Seriously if an ex premier league player came back who was excelling that’s made team x buy him in the first place … why should he care?

If TF has identified Palhinha as a player who fits the profile of what we need then that's all that matters tbh. Do like the look of the Carlos Baleba, the 21yr old lad from BHA. One to watch in the future.

It's a good point. If Spurs were about to splash huge money on Baleba or Wharton they wouldn't loan in Palhinha.
Hopefully we'll smash down wads of cash on someone else needed... hopefully.
