By then who knows what players will be fit? But we still have odobert, tel, richy, son, kulu, werner, moore, solanke, johnson for the front 4. I doubt donley is really being considered.

Depends if we registered him on the b list of players.

I think you can add players to the b list at any time.
As long as you add them, something like 24hrs before a game they are fine.

Think I’m right in saying he’d barely registered an assist or goal up to Christmas as well?

Edit: yea just checked, his first goal involvement came on 21st Dec!

I think he's capable of doing a Gray/Bergvall next year and will be in our first team by xmas.

With our need to belt tighten, id actually cash in on Maddison to fund some forwards, and have Donley take over his minutes

You can only beat whats in front of you. Bergvall was probably playing at a lower standard 12 months ago. Donley looks physically ready now too

Not sure he does look physically ready, popped over with a mate to see Orient a couple of weeks back and he uses the space very cleverly, but he is far from physical from what I saw

Donley 8 goals 10 assists this season.
Maddison 12 goals 11 assists this season.
