Orient game live on Sky main event channel Saturday
It is impressive for a player on loan to be regarded so highly by the fans.Good on him. But it's only for the team not the league.
So deserves credit but taking a bow? Nah.
It's a start! And I think better than a certain H. Kane did at the same club.Good on him. But it's only for the team not the league.

He's a kid who's gone from warming the bench to getting a hatful of assists and a bunch of cracking goals in a couple of months. Can't ask for more than that.
That includes putting Leyton Bloody Orient 1-0 up against Emirates Marketing Project, in front of their own fans, with a wonder-goal. Magical stuff.
He's done well but for perspective skipp was in the championship team of the season at a similar age. We shouldn't get too ahead of ourselves (as spurs fans are wont to do). He's got a way to go yet.

I think there is a massive difference between Skipp and Donley as players, Donley has more goals and assists already in his youth and loan career than Skipp will achieve in his entire career. He's adjusted well at Orient, at Spurs he has always been the go to player who controls the game, when he join Orient he was a kid on the bench who'll get a few minutes. I'm not saying he's ready for PL yet but he should be given a go pre season to show where he is in development. If he has to go on loan this season will make him an attractive target for some clubs.
To me, it's not about pressure; it's about a chance. This is generally speaking though, I have no idea if Donley is ready to be getting loads of PL minutes but who knows, maybe we just need to throw the kids into the deep end and see how they do (it can't be any worse than this season). He's a 10. Skipp was a 6.
We've already got people on here saying we should sell maddison and replace him with donley. Lets not put pressure on the kid.
