Just checked..........it's come back up. Looking forward to the competition but it's very hard to pick a team this season. Not sure how many Spurs players to squeeze in. Possibly just Kane and Alli or Lamela. (Got a good feeling that EL will have a good season for us)

Trying fantasy football PL for the first time this year, expecting to fail miserably. Joined this league now. What does head to head mean?

In Head-to-head you compete with the others in that group league just like å football league. You get drawn vs another member of that group each week, and the one with most points of the two players meeting that week, gets 3 points, draw 1 and loss 0. You compete with a different member of that league each week.
 
As he said.

You do nothing after joining the H2H league, it uses the same team changes.

Winner of H2H league is normally near top of Classic as consistency obviously helps, but 'every dog has its day'


The Cup works in the same way - they work out how many total teams, and how many round it needs - then work back from end season to start, I think w18 last year saw the first.

Note to self - must do a proper team before Sat lunch.

It won't tell me - designers this year are rubbish.

Well, after a struggle through the new (cr@p) setup, we're up and running.

I'll allow additional teams until end of International break. It might tell you the league is closed, but I added another (Spurs Old Boys) to see what goes. Now that GW1 is over it shows up OK.

On the subject of Spurs Old Boys, I could only spot Defoe & Crouch, so have temporarily had to include our junior striker N'Jie. I'd be obliged to anyone who can help out with a lesser known ex-Spurs striker, damn it - just remembered that tw@ A. HELP ME, PLEASE !


PS - I don't intend to muck around with that squad, but the only others in the running that I could see were Lennon & Townsend in the midfield
 
Finished 13th.
Really wish I hadn't forgotten about this part-way through the season. Ended up not using all of the bonuses.
 
Never got into it this year after finding the new version so irritating to use.

Won't engage next year, so someone else can do the deed in setting the league(s) up.
