I said, "The thing is Beckham is massive in the US, and that is where the feed comes from."

And you gave it the thumbs down, I was curious as to what specifically you were disagreeing with.

Not a criticism of your statement, merely the way that this sh!t show has been organised to cater for the lowest common denominator i.e. Trump and his cronies.
Here have one of these 1784040062794.png

Gabriel Clarke was definitely brick stirring. What’s Bellingham meant to say after running around for 120 minutes in a million degrees heat and humidity and scoring 2 goals only to hear his manager isn’t happy with the performance?!

I think everyones overplaying it on all sides TBH

TT was prickly, which I get it, to be expected, but he did say he wasn't happy with the performance. GC didn't lead with that point, he was actually really praising and mentioned it at the end. I think everyone needs to grow up a little with it all TBH

People often confuse effort with performance, we've all done tasks where we worked our nuts off and not been satisfied with the result. Tuchel feels they are capable of playing better, I think most of us would agree. It's a media created situation, loaded question asked at highly emotional times can often be misinterpreted or used for sensational headlines.

Maybe. I still don’t think Gabriel Clarke needed to mention it to Bellingham. He was channeling his inner Geoff Shreeves. I have no issue with Tuchel’s interview or Bellingham’s reaction. Tuchel is a winner and was brought in partly to not be content with reaching semi finals.

I think GC is a really good operator, I just think everyone got abit precious in the moment TBH

Any competent sports journalist wouldn't start an interview with a negative question particularly when the team has just won.

He owns part of inter Miami and it was in Miami
It’s how the Americans broadcast
They always want cleaned because it’s a big thing there and he is a huge one, globally

I don't think there was anything wrong with the interview, TT said what he said and it was a fair assessment.
Gabriel Clark was just clumsy in using the same word 'mentality' that Tuchel had used to describe the effort, heart, bravery etc to ask why TT considered the footballing performance part wasn't up to scratch. That riled and confused TT. Of course 'mentality' can be questioned regarding the footballing performance ie in the context of not following the game plan, executing training, executing your managers tactics BUT in this instance Clark just needed different vocabulary to clearly keep the two trains of thought separate.

That pretty much descended it into an argument, when there was no need for one.
Then Clark poorly relayed that to Bellingham.
