The stick Southgate received was ridiculous, international football is not as easy as people like to make out and managing England is next to impossible. He achieved far more than 'bigger name' managers have and will, yet people talk on here and elsewhere as if they know more than him and could do better - it's embarrassing.....
 
Southgate did a solid job, I just don't think he had what it takes to take us that step further.

The last 2 games have been testing out players and positions. If it continues it will be a worry, but a new manager should use these games to test things out. He just needs to move on to something that does quickly.
 
Pointless end of season games and none of the England players want to be there. If it’s the same in the Sep games then we can start asking questions, not now IMO
