How many goals would Son have to score to meet your expectations?

Hi lads,

Korean fan here. I was wondering what your goal expectations are for our boy, Son. How many goals would he have to score in the Premier League in order to be considered a successful signing in your opinion? If he scored perhaps only 5 league goals throughout the whole season, would you consider him to be a flop?

Thanks for your input!

with the goals output we have been getting from Chadli and Eriksen I would be happy with 10 or so from a wide position. If he could get close to 15 then I would be ecstatic. But mostly I want him to drag defenders around, open up space for others and be part of the unit.

If he gets 3 goals, no assists and runs down blind alleys. Then will have had a rough season. But I try to give imports at least into their second season before judging too harshly.

Frankly, don't expect many goals from him. But if he can score 5-10 goals, he would have been worth his fee.

he's a young man from a different culture moving to a new league with a different language, he can't "flop" this season, its an adjustment period, how he performs in years 3 and 4 are how he, and our purchase of him, should be judged

The problem with these so-called adjustment period is that, we seldom keep a manager for more than 2 seasons. And by the time the new players get the experience they need at Spurs, the new manager might not need them !
