Guglielmo Vicario

Vicario hasn't saved a single penalty since joining Tottenham.

Even more surprisingly, out of 15 penalties taken against him (including penalty shootouts), he only dived in the right direction 3 times.

A competently taken penalty is impossible to save.

Not a stick worth beating him with imo.

Its what happens when you have 20yrs (I'm guessing) running your socials and a possible arse fan!

There is a difference when you make occasional mistakes. And also just when you are not very good.

Pretty sure Raya has had meres. But nowhere near as many as Vic. Maybe cos he is the only one I watch regular
It turns into a problem when organisations/businesses try to mimick social media culture, but don't leave any adults in the room to make sure professional standards are upheld.

Vicario is just an easy pick, because everyone loves to make fun of Spurs, I suspect. And we make it easy for those who wants to make fun of us too, TBF.

Thank feck that Vicario didn’t attempt to celebrate Solanke’s openener like this, as he’d no doubt have missed the flag then injured himself rolling down the slope before clattering into those LED hoardings!

For me, the biggest 2 weaknesses of Vic are his defending set pieces and his inability to start effective attacks. Not only is he poor with the ball at his feet but he doesn't have the vision to start a quick attack. On the ability to contribute to attacks, I seem to remember that Kinsky was much more proactive. The lack of match time though has really been a handicap for him. I like to give our players a chance but I think we've seen enough of Vic now to decide that we need an upgrade.

Everyone will remember that Man Utd bought 3 strikers in the summer. But they also upgraded their keeper which arguably has been just as important to their improvement this season.

Only seen the highlights, the goal he conceded was very poor, but he made two outstanding saves.

Thankfully his reactions remain top notch but whether that compensates for being a vampire and his inability to kick the ball is questionable… hopefully we stay up and upgrade this summer 🤞
