Paul Stalteri
He is still here?
Yeah said it at the time but I always felt our away form would regress long before our home form improved based on the performances and underlying numbers. Never expected it to get this bad though.People were warned after the decent first 6-8 weeks or so of the season that the underlying stats were bad. From the start there was no real system or creative patterns, it's been poor most of the season.
Never thought he was the 'one' for us but wanted him to work because our managerial record is pretty poor. Worrying thing is he's still talking as though it would be a bad idea to sack him, I really hope the board disagree. I can't see how the board can get together and still believe in him - it's a precarious position we are in, but it's not too late if we act now.....

I knew we have been on a downward trajectory for some time but when you lay it out like that looks even worse....Split the season up. 26 games played.
Opening 9 Games
17pts = 1.89ppg = 72pts over 38 games
Middle 9 Games
8pts = 0.89ppg = 33pts over 38 games
Last 9 Games (include Woolwich loss)
4pts = 0.44ppg = 17pts over 38 games
Agreed. Said exactly the same, this isn't a detriment to him as a coach - just don't think he was ever the right fit. Hes carried himself well with the brick that has been thrown at him....From memory you called it pretty early: Frank has no experience in a situation like this. Everything was rosy at Brentford. Even when he finished 16th, it was still a good job.
I still believe he's a good coach -- you don't get to the Premier League if you're not -- but there's no much more to a club like Spurs. Being a flexible tactician ain't going to cut it. It was so obvious and though I didn't expect it to go this badly, I'm not surprised he won't see the season out.
Yeah, but what’s the xPPG??Split the season up. 26 games played.

Apparently De Zebri quitting Marseille and has been linked....
Doubt we will go for anything other than an interim at this stage (if he goes) my guess is they are already on the phone to Mason etcCould just be a coincidence but interesting he resigned - usually manager waits for the sack to get the payout....

I'm not sure they will listen to anyone .I’m not sure Mason is the man this time. Are this lot of players going to be lifted by, or listen to, the man sacked by Championship West Brom?
Agreed. Mason has been fine in his two spells. Picked up some decent results. But we’re in a relegation fight. This needs experience. The situation is too big for Mason, the same way the job is too big for Frank.I’m not sure Mason is the man this time.
