I'd be on the phone to Fat Sam personally if I was looking for an interim
It would fully complete our journey to being the PL's banter club par excellence, so would be very fitting. Can't see him leaving Pardew and Pullis alone at poolside, though; they look to be having a great time.

Needs to be relieved of his duty’s…. Nice chap but can’t get a tune from the players. He’s needs to go before it’s far too late.

We have a lot of his back room staff, how much would it cost to pay them all off and we have just hired a new one haven’t we? I think he is here until atleast the summer.

This is now a psychological motivational job. Tactics only matter up to a point at this stage.
Belief, confidence, license, energy are the ingredients for the syringe

That's it in a nutshell. The players know that this manager is dragging them down. They need someone to take the pressure off and then motivate them to play with belief in their abilities.

I think redknapp would do a job until the end of the season
If we are relying on a 78 year-old who has been out of the game for over a decade to keep us up then I'd be looking into the best travel routes to get to Bristol, Stoke and Derby next year.

Laughable thing about our current predicament is that the board seem to be giving him leeway because they think he's been dealt a horrible hand with injuries.

So if he hasn't got the tools to do the job, it's their job to give him those tools. Yet, in January, they pretty much sat on their hands and did next to nothing.

So someone's being incompetent. It's either the board or the manager...or both.

100% both. Saying they didn't want to bloat the squad with signings when some are close to returning from injury. No excuse, just get some loans in to cover the long term injuries at least.

Agreed. Said exactly the same, this isn't a detriment to him as a coach - just don't think he was ever the right fit. Hes carried himself well with the brick that has been thrown at him....

The only question for me was whether he could 'scale up' and it was clear early on he could not. He has a level. This club is a special beast, unique in football. Normal rules never apply here...he was never going to 'do it' here IMO.

I think they will listen to anyone but him, as long as they are allowed to play football!
A big part of Mason's success post Moutinho and post Conte was taking the handbrake off, unscrambling the players heads, and getting them passing and moving again. Its exactly what we need again now
