I think I am normally very optimistic about the team, overly so perhaps. But I think today, watching the 2nd half -- and added to all the other semi-finals/finals/games where we could go top of the league/games where we could really exert pressure on the top of the league, all games we lost/drew/got a bad result -- I feel like we're not gonna win a thing with this team. This is as good as it gets, we can be the best team in the country in the "in between" games, that is games against anyone and everyone where nothing major is really on the line that day. But we have something missing, either these players or the coach or both. Poch seems to get stage fright in these games and makes weird decisions imo. The players don't seem to cope with adversity in these games, nobody gets a hold of things and arrests a decline.
We were so passive in the 2nd half. Utd did an excellent defensive job after the opening 30 minutes or so and we didn't have much of an answer. De Gea had such an easy 45 minutes in the 2nd half. We know how good our players can be, but in these games they never are, or not enough of them are anyway.
IMO, today is the beginning of the end for this group. I have been so positive about these players and this coach and they have been very consistent and played some excellent football. But they don't have what it takes (and I don't know exactly what that is) to go and win games that really matter.

Semi-final FA Cup
Poch has just got started
Pretty much spot on. Although I wasn’t that upset by the result (I never really believed we’d turn a Jose team over in a semi-final) this does feel like a defining loss for this group - and, perhaps, more for a manager who we all love but who doesn’t seem to be motivate his teams to do the business, or get his tactics right, when it REALLY matters.
Whatever the cause was, we need to grind out enough points for a top 4 finish and then need some transfer activity this summer to make everyone believe that we can progress from here
What the fudge you playing at, poch, you can stay as long as you want. As long as you want to stay at least another 10 years.
I
Think we needed more experience in defence we looked a bit naive there. If we do sign another defender in the summer I think it has to be an experienced one.

A Levy special, Jonny Evans for £3m
Today is the perfect example why I'm not overly optimistic before games like this. We simply do not have what it takes to be champions. It was so obvious we would lose.
I'm not even disappointed, because I knew what would happen, and it panned out exactly how I predicted.
8 in a row, it's not bad luck.
I sincerely hope you're right
Or look at it another way.
If your unable to get over today.
You may need to find a more enjoyable past time.......
We will not win every, some or even most of games over any given period.
Or do what so many do support a very rich team.
There will ups and downs

There will be ups like Real and downs like today.
