FA Cup 24/25

They defended well but I wouldn't watch too many games like that.
This is what I still get confused by. I've watched us every game this season been to all home league and cup ties and that Palace performance was better than 99% of our games.

Having sat through a year plus of Ange I'd happily watch us be solid and attack properly. I'd rather a guy came in, made us solid then worked at the other end as opposed to seeing the same goals concede every single week under the guise of we're an attacking team which we're not. In each of the thirds of the pitch we're pretty bad.

I'd love to see a Tottenham team defend like that. Can only do it with buy in from everyone, coaches and players and a real team spirit.

Would happily have Glasner next season.

I think you've seen it against Frankfurt and Bodø...also against City earlier in the season, against Utd this season...

As poor we have been this season doesn't make the Palace performance something to look forward to, they were under the cosh, rode their luck and were kicking the ball anywhere but usually to a city player. I'm pleased for them but you can only truly say they defended well but not that they played good football.

They got nervous after they scored, understandably so. The 3 occasions I remember them countering well 1 was the goal, another should have been a goal, and another was offside.

They did a damn sight better than we did against City in the league cup final, albeit Ryan Mason was given a thankless task, and City were better then. Still, they won the FA Cup. Very happy it was a proper club like Palace and not the UAE greased Oasis knobmob doing poznans.

Most of them can't even be bothered anymore they've won so much

Depend on oppo

They demolished Villa playing a really decent brand

I'm not being critical of Palace, I'm trying to look past the result which most hope for to the actual display, it was good but if you spend 80% of the game with 11 men behind the ball you should be able to make it hard for opponents to score. This is not a post about Spurs, I hope anyone replying can understand that.

Managed to watch the FA Cup final on my phone driving down thru France (thanks ITV X ...no geo restriction 👍)

Chuffed for Palace...1. because their support is so great 2. always had a so spot for Palace...My late grandad was a die hard Palace fan and he used to take me to my first live games at Selhurst Park during the Droy, Cannon, Hilaire days so I'm so pleased for him that Palace have their day in the sun.

another City bottle job

how Pep is still there I have no idea

Why would they sack him? Arguably one of the best coaches of all time, he has won them loads of trophies, hailed as a genius by managers and players across the world. Who would they get instead? Would be madness to sack him.

I'm going to out myself: I am from Croydon and Thornton Heath. I grew up all around there. My dad was Spurs through and through and wasn't having me be Palace, but I would sneak out and watch them on my own. My first in person game was Selhurst Park against Wimbledon, you might remember it we won 6-2.

Thornton Heath was an utter utter brick hole with good people here and there. But pavement chemists or muggers, and running off the bus before I got patted down for phone/cash checks was common place. But when Palace were at home the buzz was amazing, the whole place lifted. They would definitely be my team if not for my dad giving me Spurs. When Palace last got to the final Spurs were chasing Leicester for the title. I said if Palace and Spurs both lift major honours I am retiring.

Now here we are again, Wednesday is our European final. Palace have done their bit. COYS
