FA Cup 24/25

They defended well but I wouldn't watch too many games like that.
This is what I still get confused by. I've watched us every game this season been to all home league and cup ties and that Palace performance was better than 99% of our games.

Having sat through a year plus of Ange I'd happily watch us be solid and attack properly. I'd rather a guy came in, made us solid then worked at the other end as opposed to seeing the same goals concede every single week under the guise of we're an attacking team which we're not. In each of the thirds of the pitch we're pretty bad.

I'd love to see a Tottenham team defend like that. Can only do it with buy in from everyone, coaches and players and a real team spirit.

Would happily have Glasner next season.

I think you've seen it against Frankfurt and Bodø...also against City earlier in the season, against Utd this season...

As poor we have been this season doesn't make the Palace performance something to look forward to, they were under the cosh, rode their luck and were kicking the ball anywhere but usually to a city player. I'm pleased for them but you can only truly say they defended well but not that they played good football.

They got nervous after they scored, understandably so. The 3 occasions I remember them countering well 1 was the goal, another should have been a goal, and another was offside.

They did a damn sight better than we did against City in the league cup final, albeit Ryan Mason was given a thankless task, and City were better then. Still, they won the FA Cup. Very happy it was a proper club like Palace and not the UAE greased Oasis knobmob doing poznans.

Most of them can't even be bothered anymore they've won so much
