Eberechi Eze

Yet again, the tacos on Twitter got it wrong. Its funny how they get literally everything wrong yet people carry on believing them.

Yup, everyone wants to be the next Romano but unless Ornstein or Ally Gold confirms it then they probably are no more ITK than any of us.

What I’m impressed with is his clear intelligence. Kudus too. Clearly bright analytical people. And when you’ve dedicated your life to physical skill, development of your intelligence, especially in some footballers, suffers.

Eze a chess champ and clearly analytical as well as a physical specimen.

If Eze does sign for us then at least he’ll be able to give Dragusin a good match, whilst he continues his rehab.

Perhaps they’ll become as competitive on the chess board as Olive and Eze used to be.

So the release clause has expired, not that they are any good to us.
Are we trying to negotiate a lower fee or different payment structure around the original £60m plus £8m or not going to get him at all?

Why would palace agree to a deal less than the release clause? Or if they would, why wait for it to expire?

They didn’t wait
The prospective buying clubs did
This is his last big window for palace to get this kind of money, unless he signs a new contract
It looks like it’s negotiations and palace also getting their ducks lined up on who they may replace him with if the deal gets done
Nothing new in reality

That's what i mean why would buying clubs wait for the release clause to expire? Could have made a bid last week. He's not going to be cheaper now.
Maybe in jan or next summer. Now they'd have less time to replace.

Pass
I’m guessing … as only fans can do.. that clubs think the PT on the release clause weren’t workable
This way we can negotiate them

Maybe more money up front, maybe a bigger fee spread out over 4 payments rather than the 3 in the previous deal? I don't know, just trying to work out if we're really serious about getting him.
