Because he does not come across in the way you want you appear to be insinuating he has an attitude problemHe does back some of the negative up in interviews to be fair. The Rio interview was not exactly the most humble 45 minutes you’ll ever see. Don’t need everyone to be perfect Mr PR like Harry Kane. But it wasn’t great.
Because he does not come across in the way you want you appear to be insinuating he has an attitude problem![]()
I never said you did. But the insinuation was thereNot what I said.
I must say you really do come across as a bell end
OK small c carl, are you small r robs backup? think you are a bit obsessed with dropping in and giving me abuse every year or so. It's odd behaviour.
Alternatively, I have it completely wrong but you are whinging because in our opinion he is not humble. If that is the case then I interprete to mean he is confident
The disrespecting of Frank was obviously wrong and not a good look. But I don't see any real evidence of bad attitude, he has a more casual demeanor in general which I'm guessing is why some perceive him to have an attitude problem? I don't see a lack of effort on the pitch....
Wrong twice. I’ve said he came across bad in that interview which even some of those defending him have acknowledged.
I don’t think Spence has a bad attitude. At least not in a way that impacts his performances. I just don’t think he is very good.
LI would agree that so far in his Spurs career he's had very few games where he has been "very good". It's all about potential with him and as you head towards your 26th b'day you need to find that next gear and a load of consistency. That's what I'm hoping RDZ can do with him.
One stat that never looks favourable with Djed is assists (and goals). He has only had 2 assists throughout his entire PL career. Zero assists last season even though he started 23 and was sub in 7 of the 38 games. That is a lot of time to be on a pitch in the wide area and not get an assist. Saying that, Porro was reduced to 1 goal and a couple of assists but has previously been up at 6 or 7 assists in prior seasons.
I've not given up with Djed at all because there are mitigating circumstances with our manager churn, league positions and playing out of position. It's quite the opposite thought process with me. The full-back position could become a serious strength again under Roberto with the full-back options we now have.
Fair enough, I wouldn't pay much attention to social media when it comes to attitude on the pitch - he is a different personality and that can be misunderstood. He also tapped Tudor on the shoulder during a game when substituted off. Some of his social media output shows an arrogance beyond his ability. More than one of our managers have had issues with his approach.
Added to that, he’s an average defender. The Congo winger had him on toast the other night.
We should be looking to upgrade.

Alternatively he is a better 1 v 1 defender than Porro and people love Porro attacking intent.
For me its more what do you want from a defender TBH
You missed, loves being called a clam.I can't think of any fullback I've seen (I don't watch foreign football) who can do what is required by our fanbase: fast, good tackler, competent in the air, good positioning, excellent passer, two footed, accurate crosser and goal scoring. We'll have to settle for someone who has 2 or 3 of those attributes.
