Dele interview

Other than his red card/8mins he's had 6 unused games on the bench. Maybe they already decided he wont be staying after this season but it seems strange considering they are safely in mid-table.

Unused sub again today. At least he is fit and healthy. Fingers crossed he finds a club that is a good fit next season

I have felt since the Bestkitas move that he should go to MK where he’s guaranteed to start.

I do so hope he is able to be happy and potentially achieve something.

He is now 29. My GHod where did those years go?
 
It’s such an awful shame.
He’s had his demons to deal with but I think we all wanted to see a kind of resurrection of his career.
A player who could be getting the accolades we are seeing today for Sonny but for whom - whether self inflicted or not - it all went wrong. A lesson for everyone that elite footballers don’t necessarily have it all on a plate and they can have the same struggles as anyone else.
I hope he finds some peace with whatever he does next.
 
Obviously the details have not come out, but on the face of it, Fabregas' treatment of Dele has been disgraceful.
 
What I dont get is that Dele was fit and available for selection towards the end of last season and wasn't getting picked (which is fair enough, managers decision), but why was he not just released on the day after the season finished if he wasn't in their plans?
