Dejan Kulusevski

Really was quite a moment seeing him coming back, been on socials everywhere (not just Spurs ones) - shows what a popular player he is. Epic picture with his daughter.

I’m not one to brick on someone else’s beliefs but give yourself some credit man! That was you who put in all the hard work, who never gave up…not some GHod!

(If it was GHod, brick, wouldn’t his time have been better spent saving someone from cancer or something?)

It seems that his faith has come about/been strengthened during his time of recovery.
And that hard work you mention him doing, the resolve to keep doing that will have come from GHod.

And that’s fine, we all have to find that inner motivation somewhere. But at the end of the day, it’s up the individual to actually get it done and I have so much respect and admiration for the way Deki managed to come back.

This is fair, I think. Being a non believer I often frowned at people who credited some GHod for their hard fought success. Then I realised that it's their belief that pushed them to do all that hard work, and brought success upon them - just like with Kulu, it seems. I will never understand it myself, but I'm happy he found his way to keep working through what must've been a horrible time.

I was raised catholic and I was a “believer” but that changed in recent years to the extent I can see religion is all hocum pocum and I don’t believe in any such thing as a GHod (apart from
Ghoddle). But even in all those years of believing in the faith I don’t think I would ever have put my family//loved ones second to GHod and I find it hard to view positively anyone who would do so.
But fair play to Deki, he’s grasped onto whatever he needed and he’s got himself through the difficult times. Shame he couldn’t give more gratitude to his family as his driving force. I’d be peed off if I were his wife and he put my support as secondary. But then maybe she’s as religious as he is.

Whatever, I’m just bloody glad to have him back and I wish I could have been there on Monday to welcome him back onto the pitch.
