Danny Rose

I disagree. I think Davies is a good player but we need that pace on each side to give us that outlet, we're too easy to stop when everything goes central.
If we continue playing 3 at the back then Rose's backup doesn't even need to be that good defensively, just give us some energy and pace down the left.

tickle my balls with a feather

Davies is decent but lacks the pace to give us the same effect .... and he also isn't as aggressive

We need a genuine like for like even if their not as good otherwise our dynamic changes too much

He was spotted in the carpark at WHL before the match yesterday wearing a brace on his knee :(

Pretty sure we can rule out a return before the international break.

This one's so annoying. Was just a clumsy challenge after we failed to clear the ball properly, IIRC. Then Rose is out for three months. Should've been avoided. Then again, I guess you could say that about most injuries.

Back in form for Arse, West Ham and Manure I hope. That's when we'll need him the most.

If the specialist who did the first diagnosis that led us to believe it wasn't that bad, has resulted in our medical team doing things that unbeknown to them has led to a lengthier injury time, then that individual should be reported.

Why are so many fans getting it in their head that Rose will be sold to Emirates Marketing Project in the summer?? Why would we sell him! He's the best left back in the league, and one of the best in the World & it's not like we are short for cash.

You really think so? Don't forget we have the small matter of a new £750m stadium to service. Hardly pocket money. If the readies start running out - which well they might - I for one wouldn't put it past DL to cash out.

Who is getting worried?

He's not going anywhere unless they want to give us kdb in exchange perhaps?

Nonsense. That is like saying "I've bought a new house, so I might sell my bike for £250, that will help".

From the OS :
DANNY ROSE
Left knee MCL injury

Danny is progressing as expected with recovery and rehabilitation. He remains a number of weeks away from a return to full training.

On soccer am Rose said the specialist he saw 2 weeks ago said he is 3-4 weeks away from being fit.

1 more week seems unlikely given the OS update above, but I think 2-3 weeks is what we're looking at.

What utter tosh. The last time we sold a key player simply because we needed the money was Gazza

Levy has never flogged off a key player solely because we needed the funds

No indeed, but neither has he ever had to finance a new stadium. But you will surely have noticed that over the past few seasons he has consistently and cunningly turned a profit from transfers.

Of course I fervently hope my anxiety is as you say complete and utter tosh, but should things ever turn very nasty, which heaven forbid they never do, it is one option that could not fail to tempt him.
