Yesterday’s yellow probably wasn’t even a foul was it?
for any other player than Romero, no. If that's Gabriel it's good hard defending.

My issue with Romero is that I’ve seen very little positive leadership from him on the field. Additionally, His recklessness has returned with a vengeance this season (eg yesterday’s yellow) and he has spent a large portion of the season suspended. I take no joy out of seeing him cry or get injured. However, do I think he was crying for Tottenham and his abject failure to inspire anyone around him? No, I don’t. I think he cried purely for himself. And I personally don’t care about the WC; I care about Spurs. He’s our fudging captain so he should care about Spurs, too. I haven’t seen it.
We had a proven PL goalscorer that many fans criticsised because as a wide player he never wanted to take on full backs but he had a knack of getting on to crosses and scoring but for some unknown reason was sold in January. How on earth have we gone from being blessed with 2 Golden Boot winners in attack to having a forward line who are incapable hitting double figures!

Thought he won the ball fairly, his reputation makes the ref give the foul and yellow.for any other player than Romero, no. If that's Gabriel it's good hard defending.

And to add insult to injury, Lange and Venkatesham didn’t think we’d need to replace any of our creative players![]()

Have to say, I disagree on the yellow Steff. The Sunderland lad has his back to our goal midway inside the half. You just need to stop him turning there. That's what top defenders do.Yesterday's yellow was far from reckless.
You know my major criticism of him this season? Two of the five goals he scored were last minute equalisers that got us draws away from home, saved Frank's job a bit longer, and allowed Frank to say we had 'played well' in said-games. If he hadn't bothered scoring those then perhaps we'd have got rid of Frank sooner because the alarm bells would've been more tangible.
As for the rest of what you said, needless to say I heartily disagree.
It's pretty easy, they aren't good players. This is why for years now I've been saying we need to stop accepting mediocrity and giving plautitudes for the ordinary. When I kept saying Richy wasn't good enough 3 years ago so many made excuses for him, when I say Solanke is meh and has had one good season again excuses were made. Well now the chickens have come home to roost. How on earth have we gone from being blessed with 2 Golden Boot winners in attack to having a forward line who are incapable hitting double figures!

Because Kane and Son carried the team for years, and the owners took them for granted, then watched them both leave and made no serious effort to secure adequate replacements for them.
For a tall lad Van Der Ven don't win many headers, quite a few times I've watched him not even bothering to jump.We will miss Cuti, i was hoping him and vdv chip in with more goals for the run in
However, as a pertnership with vdv for me it has never really clicked - both have good and different features but we let in far too many, giving away goals we shouldn't
