Circus ManUnitus - Nobody's At The Wheel

Honestly if they get Mbeumo as well as having signed Cunha, that’s two of the best players from last season. Good to see what an ambitious club with real intent does in the transfer window.

On arrival they will instantly turn to brick & in Jan be loaned out. That's what happens when you join utd

It's a real risk that one. Talented player but could well blow up in the face!

I also heard today he 'walked' more than any other player in the PL lol
I think he'll do well initially, but what I've seen and heard is that he wants to do his own thing, rather than follow instructions. That won't go well with Amorim. As I see it, Cunha is exactly the kind player United DON'T need.
Sancho returning to United as well. Could be fun! 😂😂😂

Cunha and Mbuemo and their frontline is instantly better than ours. Lets hope we have some things in the pipeline...

There's some posts going around that show both those players outperformed their normal stats more than any other players last season compared with the rest of their careers so far. I wouldn't say both are certain to work out well

Nicely put together analysis of the (mainly financial) journey of United under the Glazers.

One could conclude the whole period has cost the price of a new Old Trafford.

Sorry state of affairs

If they'd started in 2005 when the Glazer's bought the club, the £600 debt the Glazers put on the club would have been enough build an excellent stadium. A billion pound stadium then would have been incredible.

The extra revenue they have lost by selling to the Glazers instead of building the stadium is probably another billion. Perhaps this might have happened if Fergie hadn't felt entitled to a million pound horse.

English football should be grateful

United is such a commercial machine that had Glazer not burdened them with debt and run them like brick (they have matched/outspent City even with the debt), they could easily have dominated the last decade of PL.

They are fudged now, the debt plus time and money required to update their infrastructure, squad and really compete is massive, if they got all decisions right (something they seem incapable of doing)

Can someone more versed in the PSR intricacies explain to me how Man Uts can offshore £136million losses to New York and only reporting £36m loss in the UK and that be counted aginst PSR please?

Surely loss is loss no matter where it is registered for these purposes?

No expert but you have acceptable losses. Basically anything other than the cost of the first team wages, amortisation and agents fees.

Thanks

It was the way Maguire said those losses didn't count towards PSR because they were declared in US rather than UK (rather than they were 'acceptabl;e losses') that confused me.

Could be a change in the exchange rate. There's probably a detailed explanation on the net.
As i said no expert.

And i feel so happy about their fall. 😁
