Christian Stellini - Acting Head Coach for a small part of the season

We need new manager NOW to start work with the squad, so systems and personnel can be assessed before the summer. It's pointless having Stallini there.
We need a new manager now to send the message that this kind of clueless, losing attitude is not acceptable. Hire Gazza to be in charge. Or Dominic Raab. Or Kermit the frog. Anyone at this point.

Amazing that the guy that keeps hiring and firing these managers gets off Scot free and often gets called “the best chairman in the world” on this forum. We could get relegated under ENIC and they’d still be the best we can do according to their fans.

Not really amazing if you understand he's accountable to no one other than himself in terms of his job/role at the club. And in case you've missed it the fanbase appears to have turned on him as well the last couple of years.

If the first choice, based on what is out there, is Poch or Naaglesman then how long are we still gonna think about it?

Make a choice and an offer and an appointment. At least everyone knows where we are going.

At the moment we are hovering around. It's not like Conte was sacked last week. Just need to be decisive... this is just gonna get more Toxic and embarrassing with each passing day makes the job even harder for new manager.

What if neither manager wants to join until the summer?

Offer them loads of £ based on points that can get? Make it a deciding factor on who we want in? Or offer it to a caretaker and give them the incentive? I know its probably more complex behind the scenes to negotiate but I do hate the idea we can't dictate some of the terms given the wages we will be paying and the predicament we find ourselves in.

At least get it announced, so there is some direction and the players know they need to impress him. At the moment they have a bit of a self created excuse.
ATM Stallini takes the blame, not really fair on him.
Takes the pressure off everyone a bit till the end of season and provides some direction.

Moral is such an important part of an organisation and after today we are at rock bottom. We need to look at fixing it now much much sooner than later, as the damage done could take even longer to sort out.

I agree that if it's there to be done we should be either appointing the manager now/asap or announcing the appointment ahead of them joining in the summer.

Preferably the former

I’d give him some credit for the way he took responsibility in the interview when SKY teed it up for him to throw everyone else under the bus.

Ridiculously out of his depth though. Really needs to be fired for everyone’s sake.

You don’t think Levy has sacked managers who have performed no worse and in many cases far better than he has?…. At their very first bad patch as well?

it's a whole different thing though, managers have a short term remit, club chairman have a long term one, 2 years for a manager is equivalent to 10 for the MD

not being graded on the same curve
