Champions League 2016/17

I found it funny, that one of the betting sites I used was giving odds for the final. Listed as 3.6.17 Juventus v Real Madrid...

Liverpool can get to 76 points with two wins.

If everybody else in contention for a top four spot wins out, then Liverpool are out. After ManU stroll the EL final, Liverpool will be the only current top six club not to make Champions League in 2017-18.

Lub dat.

Personally, with Waste Ham safe now, Liverpool will stroll it. Waste Ham will want to save themselves for their final away game at Burnley, where the winner retains all future PL rights to the claret and blue colour scheme and the loser must move to another colour scheme. Or until re-instated after relegation. Which, with West Ham, is practically a foregone conclusion in any given season.

By my reckoning the max points Arsenal and Man Utd can get are 75 & 74 respectively, so 76 points would guarantee Liverpool at least 4th place.
