I think they are too proud to go for Allardyce again (and suspect he would tell them where to go).

I think Moyes is already a desperate move, and style wise not far moved from Pulis/Allardyce anyway (both of whom are better at it) and so Id be surprised if they continued in that vein if/when Moyes is deemed a failure as well.

Moyes is a long term project builder. Terrible football, but he'd turn a middling championship side into a middling EPL side in 2-3 years.

West Ham need a relegation avoidance specialist - what clubs used to employ Dave Bassett for, which Pulis and Allardyce have sort of succeeded him as.

Basically I don't think Moyes has either the charisma or fear factor to do anything short-term

As with most of the bottom feeders it boils down to money. The financial hit of relegation is massive even with parachute payments. West Ham will do whatever it takes to stay in the division. They have swallowed a lot more than their pride over the years, so if bringing Alladyce back is what it takes they'll do it. The alternative would send them into oblivion (bit too dramatic?)

I came across this the other day. It might be old news, but the level of delusion among both fans and others in this programme is staggering and worth watching. How anyone can even mention things like qualifying for the Champions League and becoming a Manchester United-like global brand in the same breath as West Ham is beyond me.

And then you also have the deal between the authorities and West Ham that gave them a stadium for free as well which is also covered here. Well, sort of covered, as it is impossible to get any information about it.

Well, I suppose we do have to worry about :
- whether we can finish top of our CL 'group of death';
- whether we can get past the last 16 in the CL into the quarter finals;
- whether or not we can sustain a challenge for the PL title;
- how many of our up-and-coming academy players we can squeeze into the first team squad;
- what it will be like in our new state-of-the-art best-in-Europe stadium;
- just how much income will Levy realise from :
- the naming rights to the new stadium;
- the NFL tie-up at the new stadium;
- all the non-football related events we can lease the new stadium out for;
because we own it.

So yes, you probably do have more to worry about.
I just laughed at the bell end if i'm honest

How is he regarding among their fans, generally speaking?

I'm not really sure. I think he'd do ok with them though, keep them up at least. The club needs someone to give them a lift, so phuck knows why they appointed Moyes. I think the dildo brothers might be Spurs fans.

It's hard to imagine a worse state to be in as a club.

For starters you're a West Ham fan, which means you have all the racism and retardnedness of a Chelsea fan but without the success. Your entire trophy cabinet from the day of creation of your club consists of four items. You had a rivalry with a club from South London but they used to beat you up a lot so you went cold on that. Since then you've desperately tried to start a rivalry with a team that just cannot be convinced to give a fudge about you.
I find it ironic how you've tried to come across all high and mighty by posting this nonsense, but have felt the need to include the derogatory term "retardedness" in the process. Think it through next time, pal.

Not seen you on here for a good while @Mickey_WHU Other things occupying your thoughts season?

What’s your take on Bilic going and - more importantly - Moyes as his replacement? Will he be able to do enough to turn things around or are you doomed?

Sorry, didn't mean to call you retards.

I meant spastics.

Wow. No matter how badly a weekend might go for us, there's always West Ham to cheer us up.

Not much to look forward to there if you're a Hammerhead. Leicester are going to have a field day hitting them on the counter. The next game is at Everton and not much doubt that the Toffees will be well up for Moyes' return. Last chance, maybe, to needle Moyes before he moves to a career in the Championship. Or Scotland.

Loved that video linked above by BJHolmem. Too bad the BBC took so long to get into the story, when it was too late to do anything about it. Then again, it's working out rather nicely.

It's all a cunning plan to bankrupt the stadium operators and buy it for a pittance. The annual rent gets slashed in half or something if they are relegated.

Is that a caravan they're stood in front of?

I disagree. Unless you mean long term project builder in the same sense as Pulis. IE, spend money getting better at the brick brand of football he promotes, rather than actually evolving a team.

West Ham need a relegation avoidance specialist - what clubs used to employ Dave Bassett for, which Pulis and Allardyce have sort of succeeded him as.

Absolutely. West Ham need someone to get them out of the brick quickly and I really dont see Moyes as that man.

I think they dislike him, not sure if it's because he managed us or he did / said something about Billy Bonds.

He apparently screwed over Bonds to get the managers job - and he made a lot of the Rio money disappear, sorry I mean he bought a ton of mediocre players via one agent.
