look at the 2022 video. he lacks confidence because he has been asked to play a very narrow row which requires excellent touch and control skills which he hasn't demonstrated competence in. ange is killing him and i think he knows it.

He is 23 and seems to lack confidence in himself so probably a late developer in terms of confidence in his own ability. However he averages a goal every 4 games in the Prem and cups [ us and Forest stats]. I know there are those who do not rate him but those stats are not bad for a winger.

He has ability but as i have said he seems to lack confidence i would hope he matures as a player and goes on to show his talents more as he does so.

Maybe he's like Sessegnon. Weight of the world on his shoulders, can't display his talent, stays in his shell... then rejoins Fulham and starts muscling the mighty Ben Davies off the ball and smacking it top bins.

He hasn't really played that much this season or impressed don't let his cameo against us make you think hes doing better than he is and muscling Davies off the ball isn't exactly the most difficult of things to do.

- He's on 17 goals & 7 assists for the season in all comps (47 appearances), possible he gets to a 20 goal season
- He did 19 in 53, 10 in 44 in season's for Forest, 13 in 49 for Lincoln (loan)
- At 24 (this month), this kid has hit double figures in goals in 4 out of his last 5 seasons as a fudging winger

One of those classic dumbass fan statements "all he does is score goals"

We have issues tactically, he needs to be better coached on some stuff, but really there are probably 3 wide players in the PL who are ahead of him stats wise (and they are twice his cost or more)

He is far from perfect but I do not see anyone else coming close when it comes to goals. At least he knows where the net is so that must count for something.

Have you watched Brennan for Wales? As we say in Nigeria, if it no dey for body, it no dey for body. Basically his lack of on the ball skills is not on Ange, it is who he is. Ange has done well to get the kind of goals performance from him that we are seeing. That should help with when we are selling him.

I never said his development is stunted. Ange has recognised his shortcomings and deployed him in a position where he can be effective. The ability to dribble effectively - it is either in you or not.
