I shall allow it as it is you. I am already fed up with xmas songs and despite the wife has moved jobs yet again I am being dragged along to yet another works xmas dinner.

why does everything have to be an underlined statement these days, you can't just give money anymore, that's not enough, you have turn yourself into a walking billboard for something or other all the time, stupid facial hair, stupid jumper, funny laces, covered in ice, covered in baked beans, etc and so on

yes they are good causes but it seems to me people are only really raising awareness of just how awesome and charitable they are

if all these people just gave a tenner rather than doing something they can post on Instagram I'm sure all the charities would be better off

To be fair I did not know that.

Though I am sure the people in my sisters office when I was in there and over heard them talking did not mention that. It is the same with this black friday thing they are trying to make up days to get money out of people and one thing I agree with the socialists is that we should not be living like that.

I am all for donating money and especially for children.

Was there some story last month about how much money actually goes to the cause you are giving to,something like 20p to every pond,the rest goes on salaries,admin,marketing and buying large fecking mansions like the Rspca have done.

But that's their motivation for doing it, is it not? Showing off on Instagram and what have you? So I'd say that's working well for both parties, although it does indeed look very stupid.

In my day you set up some Direct Debits to the charities you felt some kind of affinity with, maybe put them in your will if you were feeling really generous and then shut the fvck up.

What I do with the lifeboat association the 4th emergency service which is not part of any government budget, they are in my will and I fund raise for them.
Now I will shut the fvck up.
