We need something tuneful, recognisable and easy to sing. Ben-Jamin, Ben-Jamin, we all love Ben-Jamin too; Ben-Jamin, Ben-Jamin, Ben-Jamin; and we all love Ben-Jamin too...

You know we'll forget this song and settle for stand up if you hate arsenal as per usual

"To play in the Premier League is a dream, but to play with Tottenham is another dimension. I will take my chance."

Never heard of him before being linked, Youtube tells me (everything obvs..) he has a bit of pace, presses like a demon and isn't scared to get stuck in.

Benjamin Stambouli's former coach at Montpellier, Rolland Courbis, has commented on the midfielder's move to Tottenham Hotspur and believes the transfer to the Premier League club represents a "great step forward" in the player's career.

The 22-year-old is a versatile athlete adept at defensive midfield and centre back positions. Last season, in Ligue 1 duty alone, he attempted 51 interceptions, 111 clearances, 11 tackles and completed a commendable 83% of his total attempted passes.

Courbis believes representing Spurs "should be able" to see Stambouli "join the French team".

He said: “Tottenham had a very good idea to sign him.”

Indeed, Tottenham Hotspur were not the only club interested in his services as Fiorentina were coveting Stambouli's signature for three weeks, yet their indecisiveness ultimately ended up proving costly.

"He preferred Tottenham to Fiorentina," Stambouli's agent said. "Benjamin's first choice was the Premier League and we have received a concrete offer from England.

“Fiorentina's error was wasting too much time to close the deal with Montpellier, about two weeks.”

We should probably just ignore this as it doesn't fit with the Levy bashing.

Should probably ignore it if they can't even get his age right.

Difficult to comment, as I've never heard of him. Fingers crossed this turns out to be a master stroke by our scouts.
Hope he's able to make the step up.

He won Ligue 1 with Montpellier, so he knows how to last the distance in a league! Good to bring in a winning mentality. Same with Fazio who's just won Europa League with Sevilla.
