Whist i agree with the outcome they way in which the club has handled this is abhorrent. If it was the overall performance that was the issue, then why didn't you sack him weeks/months ago!?

The club used him. Then threw him out like a used condom.

The board are utter clams for the way they have done this. Dispicable.

I hope we get relegated
Now Ange has gone relegation is sadly off the table.......

Less chance now the clown has gone.

Also he made millions of pounds from his employment with us. If he is as good as everyone says he will be managing a top club a better club then us in no time at all.

He will prove his detractors, me included wrong. Or he won't....

Is it none of the names linked inspire at all. We are looking at mid table managers who have one fudge all. Who is to say we won't be in a relagation fight with them.

They are all proven at PL level to have teams playing at their level or above it.

Brentford for example have one of the lowest wage bills in the league - Frank and their transfer department are doing wonders there keeping them consistently mid-table.

I’ve been in the out camp for ages, glad he’s gone, hated his football, and his attitude to the game.

I’m delighted we won the UEFA Cup, I have no ill will towards him personally, this is the right decision, the only logical decision.
I'm nearly the same.

I have some ill feeling because I feel no other football fan should endure his football. Hope he lives a long and healthy life but no one should have to watch his "football" ever again.

So what none of them guarantee anything they are mid table managers have a bad year & we are back were we started. Frank has been at Brentford since 2017 what exactly has he achieved

No one will guaranteed anything - what point do you think you're making there exactly?

If a manager has proven himself able to have a PL club punching way above it's weight then for me that is as good an indicator as any that they can do a good job here.

Liked, then unliked because I couldn't agree with the bit about Euro Vase (I still couldn't give a toss about that), then liked again because the rest of it is exactly my thoughts.

It’s got us our CL place back.

I expect I’m in the minority here, but I’d have rather finished 2nd and got in that way, would have been a better season overall, more wins, fewer goals conceded.

Never said anyone could guarantee anything. You can't guarantee any mid table manager won't have us in a relegation battle. Where this conversation started.

If you are happy having a mid table manager who has achieved fudge all no problem.

He’d be an absolutely brilliant youth coach, where it’s about sport.

But the real game is about winning at any cost, he’s too naive and idealistic for that.

By making the claim that none of the mid table managers guarantee anything the implication is that there are options out there that do. I've explained the logic behind my thinking - I think it's pretty solid. You haven't actually provided any of yours
