Not sure they got burned by Redknapp really.... They looked certs for relegation to League 1 when he took over and they ended up staying up. Was probably a worthwhile appointment for them overall.It's so easy to forget the Rowett sacking...lol the owners tried to go glitzy and for a 'big brand name' in Zola, when that didn't work out they decided to go for the 'English wheeler-dealer' to steady the corporate ship and stop it sinking. One of the last things " rent a quote" was supposed to have said that his players were not good enough, well if that is true Birmingham will still have another few years of having to pay their wages.
