If they do cave and accept, will that mean a late attempt to get Lanzini?
I wonder how much the dildo brothers would hold out for, or whether they'd refuse to sell? Could be entertaining to see them lose their best player - again. Silly money for Coutinho puts Pool in a pretty weak negotiating position if they are desperate to replace him, or spend money elsewhere, in what remains of the window.
 
Messi has called for this. He's not signing a new contract until he is happy with who Barcelona get. The huge fee is sign of their desperation not to lose Messi rather the valuation of coutinho imo.

Their best player is Mane by some way

Coutinho is a good player but too inconsistent

I'll give you a clue or two... he has two options ... both teams have rich Arab backing ... both in Europe ... both represent overrated cities .... I've almost given you one

Mane is week mentally he's in love with Klopp now, first sniff of a big transfer, you watch his form dip.
They will be lining up IMHO. Maybe not this window but next summer?

Sure, I guess I underestimate how money trumps everything in football. I bet it's been a lifelong dream of his to play in the French league! :p

Hopefully chunks of it is performance related or at least deferred so they don't get it all up front.

Pleased anyway that they've done this given that the closer we get to the end of the window, the less likely it is that after failing with Coutinho, they'd make a similar offer for Eriksen and Levy accept it
